Ljosheim, or “House of Light” is the unifying title of my entire body of artwork, inspired by the luminous harmonies and stark contrasts of Nordic landscapes and mythologies. Rooted in my Scandinavian heritage, these works intend to symbolize the harmony of nature’s power: the ethereal glow of waterfalls against jagged mountains, the serene yet powerful forces of nature, and the shifting seasons that define the spirit of wilderness. My intention is to imbue these concepts into the artworks, where abstraction meets naturalism, and cascading textures and dynamic color scapes evoke both the untamed energy and tranquil beauty of the Nordic world.
